Jillian Sweeney - BodiBalance Instructor
MFA (Dance - Smith College)

Trained in Horton technique with Regina Larkin and Milton Myers, Jillian has performed with Pi Dance Theatre, elledanceworks (Dallas) and is currently performing with Theresa Duhon and Jen Rosenblit/BottomHeavy Productions. Her work has been shown at Dixon Place, One Arm Red, WaxWorks, Dance New Amsterdam, Galapagos, Movement Research, and HERE Arts Center. She has been working with Carol Fonda for over six years, bringing Fonda's movement philosophy to her performance, teaching, and choreography. In Jillian's vigorous Modern dance classes, you primarily utilize the energetic ideas and imagery of the BodiBalance approach. As you learn choreographed phrases, you also investigate intricate gestures, varied rhythms, and your own choices for movement.
